Since 2003, the Weller Health Education Center's Outstanding Friend to Kids Awards have honored individuals and organizations making a powerful positive impact on the lives of children in the greater Lehigh Valley. All proceeds from the event support the Weller Center's programs and exhibits.
The ceremony itself is a 90-minute breakfast held on a Friday morning in early October. A steering committee comprised of community and corporate leaders begins meeting monthly in January to plan the event.
The Outstanding Friend to Kids Awards is a fun, inspiring and unique award ceremony that recognizes the vital life-changing work of individuals and organizations in our region.
