NEW PROGRAM FOR TEENS ON NUTRITION
Students learn the scary truth about the foods they love and how to choose healthy foods to give them the energy to get through the day in You Are What You Eat, a new program appropriate for students in grades 5-8. KIDSHEALTH RECOGNIZED AS BEST SITE FOR MOMS AND TEENS
A recent Good Housekeeping article named the ‘best sites for family health’more specifically preventive health information. KidsHealth was voted as the best place for mom to not only find information on the basics, but also in providing up to date information on current issues for today’s kids. TeensHealth was recognized as the place for teens to learn about healthy eating and exercisein addition to more sensitive topics, such as how to help out a friend in need. The website brings the information to their level without being overbearing.

CONGRATULATIONS TO DEBORAH MCALLISTER!
Thanks go out to all who participated and signed up to win a free Weller assembly for your class. Deborah McAllister from Penn Valley Elementary School in Lower Merion School District won a free program for her kindergarten through first grade students. We will be presenting It Takes Practice to be a Friend at her school, as an outreach program, on December 14, 2006. Look for related follow-up information in a future edition of Weller e-News.
