LOWER MORELAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT THE DANGERS OF BINGE DRINKING
On Tuesday, November 28, the Weller Health Education Center presented a dynamic educational alcohol abuse prevention program at Lower Moreland High School in Huntington Valley, PA. Called Binged to Death, the program explores the dangers of alcohol poisoning and binge drinking. More than 150 tenth grade students participated. During the program, students shared in activities that help make the consequences of alcohol use more real. High-impact video clips, emergency room footage and interviews with teens also help students understand the dangers of binge drinking. For more information call 610-258-8500, ext. 10.
